I’ve never understood why people say they hate the concept of labels (femme, androgynous, masculine, girl, boy, genderqueer, lesbian, gay, straight, pan, trans*, bi, fat, white, black, etc). I’d rather label myself before someone else attempts to define me. And labeling myself allows me to find others that I have shared interests with. Labels are fine. Labels are healthy.
